Vision: "The Downey Counseling Team will strive to put the student needs first by providing equitable services for all demographics and academic levels. We will collaborate and effectively communicate with all school support systems. Our goal is to increase graduation rates by improving student understanding of graduation and A-G requirements. We will work toward attaining ASCA RAMP Certification."

Action Plan: "The Downey Counseling Team’s Vision will be achieved by following our Action Plan, which includes creating Graduation Requirement Posters for Classrooms, developing a Newsletter that communicates our progress, celebrating National School Counseling Week, and making our presence known by our school community during the students’ lunch period."
